Prepare for the next step

J-Way welcomes emerging ministers, ministry team members, and church leaders seeking structured biblical formation and practical development.

The first Foundations cohort meets on Zoom every Monday, January 4–February 22, 2027, from 7:30–8:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Joining details are provided in the enrolled-student calendar. Eight weekly sessions cover AF01–AF08, with independent study and practical assignments between meetings. Begin with Foundations and continue through the four-track learning pathway.

Tuition and access

Complete program: $600 USD. Tuition covers all 39 lessons across four tracks. Pay in full or in 10 monthly installments of $60, with no interest or installment surcharge. The payment schedule does not define the instructional calendar.

Begin with Foundations: $125 USD. Join the initial eight-lesson Foundations cohort. If you continue into the complete program, the full $125 is credited toward the $600 total, leaving $475. Foundations is part of the complete program, not an additional fee.

Tuition includes instruction, assessment and feedback, required school-provided learning materials, and the digital completion certificate when academic requirements are met. There are no separate application, assessment, or digital completion-certificate fees. Required readings will be school-owned, authorized, or provided through equivalent accessible materials; students will not be required to purchase an unavailable text.

Tuition assistance

An Access Scholarship reduces complete-program tuition by 50% to $300 USD, payable in 10 monthly installments of $30. Full scholarships will be awarded from the school’s allocated or sponsored scholarship funds. Assistance is subject to available funding and confirmation before enrollment; it is not automatically awarded.

Students may request assistance confidentially through the admissions process when it opens. Scholarship students receive the same instruction, feedback, and assessment standards. The assistance process and available awards will be published before applications open.

Enrollment is not yet open. Application arrangements and the final enrollment agreement will be provided before payments are accepted. Foundations withdrawal and refund terms appear below. Dates for the later tracks will be announced separately. Tuition pays for education; completion does not itself confer ordination or establish apostolic calling.

First-cohort capacity

The January 2027 Foundations cohort is limited to 15 students, including scholarship recipients, to support live discussion and individual feedback.

Foundations scholarship seats

Two full-scholarship seats are reserved within the 15-student January 2027 Foundations cohort. Each covers the $125 Foundations tuition in full. These awards cover Foundations only; assistance for the complete program requires a separate award. Application and award details will be provided before enrollment opens.

Application deadline

Applications for the January 2027 Foundations cohort are scheduled to open November 16, 2026, subject to the website, admissions mailbox, and application process being ready. Applications are due December 21, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Applications are not yet open; the opening announcement will include submission instructions.

Who may apply

The first Foundations cohort is open to adults age 18 and older. Prior ordination or a ministry title is not required.

Certificate and ministry discernment

Students who successfully complete the required coursework and assessments receive a certificate of completion for the course or program completed.

Completion also provides an opportunity to be considered for ordination or affirmation when the individual’s calling is discerned. This is a separate discernment and review process; a certificate or payment of tuition does not automatically confer ordination or affirmation. The school’s review considers calling, Christlike character, biblical understanding, demonstrated ministry fruit, and accountable relationships.

Apostle Eric L. Jones, together with a ministry council, conducts the discernment review for ordination or affirmation.

Earlier review for experienced ministers

Experienced ministers may request an ordination or affirmation discernment review before completing all four tracks. Apostle Eric L. Jones and the ministry council evaluate each request individually. An earlier review does not guarantee ordination or affirmation and does not itself waive coursework or certificate requirements.

Earlier-review requirements

  • A summary of ministry experience.
  • Two ministry references.
  • An interview with Apostle Jones and the ministry council.

These materials support the discernment process and do not guarantee ordination or affirmation. Submission instructions will be provided when the review process opens.

Discernment-review fee: There is no separate fee for an ordination or affirmation discernment review, including an earlier review requested by an experienced minister. A review does not guarantee ordination or affirmation.

Foundations payment option: Pay $125 USD in full or in two installments of $62.50, with no surcharge. The total remains $125 and is fully credited toward the complete program if you continue. The first $62.50 installment is due after acceptance and before January 4, 2027. The second $62.50 installment is due February 1, 2027.

Foundations withdrawal and refund policy

Launch preview: enrollment and payments remain closed. The following terms are prepared for the first Foundations cohort; applicability review is pending before enrollment opens.

Scope and tuition

This policy covers the January 4–February 22, 2027 Foundations cohort (AF01–AF08), eight lessons with $125 tuition, offered by J-Way School of Apostles, operated by Reviving Reverence Ministries. It does not establish refund terms for the complete $600 program. Complete-program payments remain unavailable until those terms are provided.

Full-refund period

Withdraw before classes or through January 5, 2027 at 8:30 p.m. PST for a full refund of tuition paid and cancellation of remaining Foundations installments. The school also offers a full refund through five business days after signing the enrollment agreement if that is later. No administrative fee applies during either window. Any longer or more favorable applicable cancellation right takes precedence.

Completed-lesson calculation

After the full-refund period, earned tuition equals the student’s net tuition after scholarship multiplied by completed lessons divided by eight. Round only the final amount to the nearest cent. For refund accounting, a completed lesson means the school has received all required submissions and a quiz attempt for that lesson; passing grades are not required for this accounting definition. Count each lesson once. Attendance, opening materials, partial work, or a scheduled class alone does not count as a completed lesson. This definition does not change certificate or academic passing requirements. Refund payments above earned tuition, less any permitted administrative deduction.

Administrative fee

One $10 administrative deduction applies per voluntary withdrawal after the full-refund period, only where permitted and disclosed before enrollment. It is capped at the available refund and never creates a balance owed. No fee applies to school cancellations, school billing errors, legally required full refunds, or fully funded scholarship students. No separate payment-processing deduction applies. Apostle Jones may waive the fee for hardship.

Installments and remaining balances

Cancel tuition for uncompleted lessons when a student withdraws. If tuition already paid is less than earned tuition for completed lessons, only that difference remains due, subject to hardship relief and applicable rights. Provide an itemized statement; do not accelerate the original remaining installment in full or add a refund-processing fee to the balance. Pause scheduled future collections while reconciling the withdrawal. Do not use an automatic charge to collect a revised balance without the payer’s existing valid authorization.

School cancellation

If the school cancels before opening, refund all tuition paid and cancel remaining installments. If it cannot deliver the remaining instruction, refund prepaid tuition for the undelivered portion and cancel the corresponding unpaid balance, with no administrative or payment-processing deduction. Calculate that portion using the student’s net tuition and the fraction of the eight lessons not delivered; if completed-lesson proration or applicable rights yields a larger refund, use the larger amount. A student may choose a monetary refund rather than a transfer or credit.

Withdrawal requests and records

Accept any clear request by email, school messaging, mail, or a verbal request to Apostle Jones. Record receipt and provide written acknowledgment within two business days. Staff document verbal requests; students need not submit them again in writing. For a voluntary withdrawal, use the earlier of the request date and the recorded last date of academic participation; for a student who never participated, use the request date. Record both dates and apply any legally required date that gives the student greater protection. Academic participation means attending instruction or submitting coursework or a quiz attempt, not merely signing in. Do not wait for written acknowledgment to accept withdrawal.

Absences and pauses

An isolated absence is not automatically a withdrawal. Contact students after two consecutive missed sessions with no coursework activity. Unless the student agrees in writing to a defined pause, close inactive enrollment no later than 30 calendar days after the first missed scheduled session, using the recorded last participation date for the refund calculation. Review attendance and activity weekly so refunds are not delayed. Close inactive enrollment and pay any refund sooner whenever necessary to meet the deadline measured from the official withdrawal date; the 30-day inactivity limit never extends a refund deadline. A pause requires a written return plan; do not promise a place in an unannounced future cohort.

Refund timing and payment

Issue refunds within ten business days of effective withdrawal or school cancellation, and meet any earlier applicable deadline. In all cases, pay refunds within 30 calendar days of the official withdrawal or termination date, or sooner if required. If a backdated withdrawal is discovered after the school’s ten-business-day timeframe, issue the refund promptly without restarting the clock. Provide the calculation and payment confirmation in writing. Refund to the original payer and payment method where possible; confirm an alternative securely when necessary. Business days for the school’s service commitments mean Monday through Friday, excluding Washington State legal holidays; this definition does not shorten statutory rights.

Scholarships

Use the actual tuition obligation after the scholarship when calculating earned tuition and refunds. Refund only eligible amounts actually paid by the student or payer. Waived scholarship amounts have no cash value. Fully funded scholarship students owe no refund-processing fee. A partial scholarship does not change the full-refund window or the protections in this policy.

Hardship and review

Apostle Jones may grant a pause, transfer, administrative-fee waiver, or additional tuition relief based on individual hardship. Request only the information needed and receive sensitive details privately. Record the decision and any revised payment or return arrangement in writing. A hardship request or calculation dispute does not delay an undisputed refund or reduce existing rights. Students may request a written explanation and correction of a refund calculation through any school contact channel.

Contact and applicable protections

Mail: Reviving Reverence Ministries, 4349 South Lawrence Street, Tacoma, WA 98409. Verbal requests may be made to Apostle Jones. Email: admissions@jwaysoa.com. Enrolled students may also use private school messaging. More favorable applicable rights always take precedence. Terms will be disclosed before enrollment and retained with the student’s agreement; later changes will not reduce existing student rights.

Example: After two completed lessons, a student who paid $125 receives $83.75 after the $10 deduction, where permitted. A fully funded scholarship student owes no refund-processing fee.

How admission will work

  1. Submit the free application when the application window opens.
  2. Apostle Jones reviews your learning goals, availability, and any private assistance request.
  3. If offered a place, receive the enrollment agreement, calendar, scholarship decision, and exact payment schedule.
  4. Complete the agreement and agreed payment or scholarship arrangements before receiving course access.

An application does not guarantee admission, a scholarship, ordination, or affirmation. The cohort is limited to 15 confirmed students, including scholarship recipients.
